The Jeff Attar Memorial Outing is a non-profit corporation as described under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the JAMO qualify as tax deductions under appropriate tax laws. Since the IRS considers benefits given in recognition of a charitable gift as a reduction in the value of the gift, only a portion of your registration fee and/or sponsorship of the JAMO is tax deductible.
